Mr. and Mrs. Richard Vogel will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 20.

Richard Vogel and the former Joyce Grinstead were married June 21, 1959 at the home of her sister, Marjorie Lambert Shoemaker. Officiating minister was the Rev. Ray Crawl.

Mr. Vogel retired from Schnadig Corporation and Rush County Schools. His wife retired from First Indiana Bank.

They are the parents of Janet (Mike) McCord of Scottsburg and proud grandparents of Evan and Jenna McCord.
