Ralph and Carolyn Baker of Manilla will be honored with an open house from 1 to 6 p.m. May 18 at the Manilla Fire Station. They will renew their vows as part of he celebration.

Carolyn Schwier and Ralph Baker were married May 25, 1958 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, with Rev. Schriefer officiating.

Mr. Baker was employed at Culligan Fire Protection in Indianapolis until retiring in 1992. His wife is a home maker, 40 year 4-H leader, 50 year Homemakers’ Club member, and Mayflower Society member.

They are the parents of Gary (Serena) Baker of Shelbyville, Eddie (Judi) Baker of Waldron, Tina Ramey of Shelbyville, and Jessica (Keith) Wickizer of Indianapolis. The couple has 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
