Mr. and Mrs. William C. Adams will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children and grandchildren from 2 to 5 p.m. Jan. 24 at Evangelical Methodist Church, 267 East Washington Street, Shelbyville.

William C. Adams and the former Carol R. Goble were married Dec. 31, 1959 in the former Pilgrim Holiness Church, Shelbyville, by the Rev. C.M. Swayzee.

Mr. Adams is retired from Ameritech. Mrs. Adams is a homemaker.

They are the parents of Kenneth (wife Haydee) Adams of Indianapolis and Sherry (husband James) Zamora of Shelbyville. The couple has five grandchildren, Whitney, Christopher, Melissa, Fabricio and Tiffany.

Mr. and Mrs. Adams enjoy traveling, reading, blue grass music and spending time with their grandchildren.
